The Ridgefield School District libraries’ purpose is two-fold: to instill a life-long love of reading, and to create a community of critical thinkers who can efficiently use, evaluate, and produce information in order to be contributing members of society.

The RHS Library is a safe space for all. Do your part to keep it that way.
  • Books are due in 2 weeks. There is no limit on how many books can be checked out at once, unless books are consistently returned late.
  • Magazines, DVDs, and audiobooks are also available for checkout.
  • The library is open during lunch; students with academic needs are given priority on the computers.
  • Students with overdue books will have their fines placed on the school's fine system (Skyward).  Fines will be removed from the list when the articles are returned or replaced. If a book is lost, please pay in the office, online, or talk with Mrs. Guccini about replacing it.
  • Students are asked to pay for materials only if they are lost or seriously damaged; there are no late fees.
